Champagne Lahérte Fréres, Blanc de Blancs
Grape Varietal: 100% Chardonnay
Dosage: 0 g/l - Brut Nature
Location: Vallée de la Marne, Champagne, France
Quick Facts:
- A stunning and pure expression of chalky Champagne terroir. Each sip offers a tantalizing blend of crisp green apple, Meyer lemon, and fresh bread.
- Energetic acidity and minerality balance with complex flavors, yielding a bottle that is refreshingly dry, yet full-bodied.
- With a long, mineral driven saline finish, this racy blanc de blancs is a treat for any champagne enthusiast.
- A perfect start to any evening or meal. It pairs effortlessly with oysters, shrimp cocktails (I'm a big fan of Costco’s), or comfort foods like crispy french fries, burgers, and, of course, fried chicken. An elegant and fun champagne to accompany the suspense of Stranger Things, the laughs in Ted Lasso, or the romantic whimsy in "La La Land".
Founded in 1889, the estate is currently operated by seventh-generation vintner, Aurélien Laherte, a rising star among Champagne growers. His deep-rooted passion for the land reflects the estate's evolution into a certified organic and biodynamic estate. Aurélien allows the land to tell its own tale with a very hands-off approach, fostering the creation of each cuvée and allowing the true character of the vines and chalky soils to shine through.
