Notable

Sisters Anne and Marie Guégniard are an impressive eighth-generation of winemakers in their family. Adding to the estate's allure, Anne's husband, David, opened a Michelin-star restaurant on the property, creating a true destination for wine and food enthusiasts alike.

Sips & Scents

This Crémant dazzles with a pale gold hue and a lively stream of fine bubbles. The nose offers a bouquet of ripe golden apples, juicy pears, and zesty lemon with subtle notes of white flowers and fresh brioche. On the palate a dry burst of flavor with notes of quince and honey and a very distinctive minerality speaks to its schist soil origins. A smooth creaminess and well-balanced texture lead to a long and refreshing finish that invites sip after sip.

Perfect Matches

Ideal for sipping on its own or with light appetizers and a perfect match for a steaming bowl of moules-frites. The wine's crisp acidity also cuts through rich, creamy cheeses like Camembert or goat cheese. Busy day? DoorDash some spicy Asian cuisine and catch up on episodes of The Rings of Power or The Last of Us.

Hands Behind the Bubbles

Sisters Anne and Marie Guégniard are the eighth-generation winemakers in their family. Their great-grandmother acquired the Domaine de la Bergerie in 1961. Anne joined in 2010, initiating the transition to organic agriculture, with Marie following in 2018. Their vineyards are defined by schist bedrock imparting a unique character to their wines. The sisters' philosophy is deeply rooted in nature, as they explain: "The nature that surrounds us inspires us every day. We hope that this inspiration comes through in our wines."
