Bianca Vigna - Prosecco Valdobiadene Superiore DOCG, Sui Lieviti Brut Nature

Our rare inclusion of a prosecco means it’s special. This is crafted in the “old” style of prosecco, called Sui Lieviti, in the era before machinery and mass production and is not commonly found in the U.S. In your glass it can appear both clear and a pale cloudy gold with two two different flavors. The aromas of pear, honeydew, lemon, cucumbers, white flowers and bread crust are also present on the palate. With very fine bubbles and full, rounded mouthfeel it refreshes and concludes with a lingering dry finish. If you see a haziness, it’s normal and a nod to this unique style. So why is it special? Because it’s like two wines in one bottle! You can taste this clear, cloudy or both, for a fun experience. And keep the bottle in its UV-blocking orange film until ready to pop.

BiancaVigna was founded in 2004 by siblings Enrico and Elena Moschetta. Working with grapes from the family vineyards, founded by their grandfather Genesio in the 1950’s, they set out to craft quality sparkling wines under their own label. Their vines grow in the famous hillsides of Conegliano-Valdobbiadene. The area was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as a cultural landscape to be protected.
