Notable

Limoux is the true birthplace of sparkling wine, with records of its production dating back decades before Champagne.

Sips & Scents

This sparkler opens with aromas of green apple, pear, and citrus, along with notes of toasted yeast and a touch of ginger. On the palate, it’s dry and lively with soft bubbles, crisp acidity, and clean minerality. In recent years, Antech began aging wines longer on lees and lowering their dosage. This evolution allowed for a more natural expression of the grapes, producing Crémants that are more refined and vibrant.

Perfect Matches

A nice match for tinned fish, mussels, ceviche, fresh fish in citrus sauce, or light chicken dishes. Salads with citrus or herbal dressing, and soft cheeses. Is it Fryday? Pour this and enjoy with French fries, chicken nuggets, popcorn shrimp, or tempura-fried veggies.

Hands Behind the Bubbles

The Antech family has been crafting sparkling wines for six generations. Their vineyards sit in the foothills of the Pyrenees and benefit from a unique microclimate that enhances grape expression. Françoise Antech-Gazeau stewards the estate, while her son Baptiste shapes a new chapter with greater emphasis on precision and purity. Their commitment to sustainability is meticulous and a part of each step in the production process, including recycling waste, cutting energy consumption, and working with environmentally responsible suppliers. The estate has maintained sustainable certification since 2013 and is currently transitioning to organic farming.
