The age of the Cava shows as it opens with aromas of yellow apple skins, ripe pears, beeswax, fresh cream, hazelnuts and marzipan. This is a complex and full bodied bottle delivering flavors of ripe pears, almonds, baked yellow apple, grilled lemon, thyme, buttered pastry and custard. A terrific wine showing both power and elegance, with a perfect balance between fruit and acidity.
