Notable

Vitteaut-Alberti does one thing and one thing only: Crémant de Bourgogne. Every vine, every bottle, every decision is dedicated exclusively to sparkling wine.

Sips & Scents

Deep pink in the glass with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose leads with fresh red fruits, raspberry, wild strawberry, and hints of blackcurrant. On the palate, it's ripe and vivid, with redcurrant and raspberry up front and a touch of apricot adding softness mid-palate. Citrus acidity keeps everything bright, and the finish lingers with notes of biscuits coming from the eighteen to twenty-four months spent on lees.

Perfect Matches

A natural with smoked salmon, charcuterie, and soft cheeses, or a spread of appetizers before dinner. It also holds its own with light desserts like strawberry shortcake or anything involving fresh berries and cream.

Hands Behind the Bubbles

Lucien Vitteaut and his wife Alberti founded their house in 1951 in the heartland of Burgundy, Rully, the village considered the birthplace of Crémant de Bourgogne. From the start, their focus was on crafting quality sparkling wine only, and it was rare for producers in Burgundy to make sparkling wine at that time. Three generations later, that commitment hasn't shifted. Gérard and Danielle grew the estate, and today their daughter Agnès leads the house with the same clarity of purpose, focusing solely on sparkling wine. Their parcels are located in the Côte Chalonnaise and Côte de Beaune, and every grape grown on them goes into Crémant. In a region where most producers treat sparkling wine as a side project, Vitteaut-Alberti built their entire identity around it. You can taste that focus in every glass.
