Roland Champion was founded in 1929 by André Champion. His son, Roland, at 16 years of age, took over the vineyard after Andre’s unfortunate early passing. Roland grew the vineyards and eventually put his name on his family’s Champagne. Today, Roland’s son, François, runs the vineyard along with his daughters Carole and Clémence, the fourth generation of their family. They are also a proud member of Champagnes elite “Special Club”. The Special Club represents 28 artisan winemakers selected according to a set of unrelenting quality standards within the region.
