This rosé, showing a bright raspberry pink in the glass, starts off with aromas of wild strawberries, redcurrant, and raspberries opens to reveal subtle notes of fresh-baked bread. The grapes for this sparkler undergo an eight-hour maceration to extract the color and flavor from the skins before spending 12 months aging on their lees. The palate delivers classic Pinot Noir red fruit flavors with a light refreshing feel. Fine persistent bubbles bring lift and elegance and the well balanced acidity carries you to a crisp, dry finish that makes the next sip come quickly.

Can Xa is a wine project of sisters Ruth and Ana DeAndrés, born from a desire to offer quality wines that feel approachable and personal. The wines are produced in collaboration with Jordi and Anna Emendis at their winery in Penedès. Emendis is located in an old farmhouse in Castellet i la Gornal, Penedès. The name Emendis comes from the first resident of the farmhouse, a woman who founded the estate in 1186. The estate is again owned by a woman, Anna Valles, who, with her husband Jordi, makes their wines and Cavas using only sustainable farming practices. Made thoughtfully and with a clear sense of purpose, from 100% Pinot Noir, this rosé reflects its Mediterranean influence, balancing freshness, fruit, and drinkability with noticeable care and intention.
