Winegrowers since 1850, Currently farming 13 hectares (30 acres) including 4 grand crus parcels. 30 years biodynamic, 1 motivated family and 2 horses to help plow and annual production of only 14,000 bottles.
Crémants are a fantastic way to experience a range of French wine regions and Lune a Boire is no exception. The freshness, fine mousse, and aromas of ripe orchard fruits make it such an enjoyable bottle for a casual evening.
Enjoy this as an apéritif or with lighter appetizers or foods. Semi-hard alpine cheeses, shellfish, lean grilled fish, light citrusy salads or baked chicken will work nicely. Evening pairings on the couch can include episodes of Love on the Spectrum, Farmer Wants a Wife or the movie, No Hard Feelings.
The Kreydenweiss family have been viticulturists for 13 generations. Continuing this legacy is not easy, and, in 2007, at 26 years old, Antoine took over and committed himself to the task. His passion is obvious but we can’t express anything about him better than he does himself here; “I am passionate about our land and rooted in this place with my wife Charlotte and our three daughters. In the continuity of my ancestors, I continue this quest, biodynamics and respect for our environment are the foundations of my deepest convictions. Let us not forget that we borrow the earth from our children. I like vibrant wines with textured mouthfeels, wines that don't make you indifferent but that don't please everyone, wines that resemble me.”
