Bianca Vigna, Sui Lieviti 2022
Location: Valdobiadene, Veneto, Italy
Quick Facts:
- Note: Keep the bottle in its UV-blocking orange film until ready to pop.
- This special bottle is crafted in the “old” style of prosecco called Sui Lieviti and is not so commonly found in the U.S.
- Both aromas and flavors are of pear, honeydew, lemon, cucumbers, white flowers and bread crust.
- In your glass, it can appear both clear and a pale cloudy gold. See haziness? It’s normal and a nod to this unique style.
- For a fun experience. Keep the bottle upright and still then pour your first glass. Then give the bottle a little shake or swirl and pour the second glass. Sui Lieviti is like two wines in one bottle and you can see and taste the difference.

This is an ideal aperitif that's versatile enough to pair with a variety of dishes. Try it with risotto, shellfish, salty snacks, figs, white meats, and lean fish. Busy day? Grab some chicken parm or a meatball sub on the way home, pour a glass and relax.
BiancaVigna was founded in 2004 by siblings Enrico and Elena Moschetta. Using grapes from the family vineyards, founded by their grandfather Genesio in the 1950’s, they set out to craft quality sparkling wines under their own label. Their vines grow in the famous hillsides of Conegliano-Valdobbiadene. An area recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as a cultural landscape to be protected.
