Quick Facts:

  • A lively champagne with a tight raciness and flavors of green apples, lemon, and tart raspberries.
  • With a light smokiness and a creaminess like a baked apple tart, this bottle offers both depth and complexity. Experience how it evolves from your 1st glass to 2nd.
  • Perfect for shellfish (think buttery crabs or lobster rolls), sushi, fried chicken, cheeseburgers, and if you haven't yet tried champagne with risotto or mac & cheese, those are great options for this bottle.

Chartogne-Taillet is a highly regarded, small producer whose Estate history goes back to the 1600’s. Alexandre Chartogne is the present day winemaker and he farms with a strong dedication and singular focus on allowing the terroir to express itself. He studies not only the soil for each parcel of land but also the microorganisms. He uses no herbicides, pesticides, or fertilizers and around half his land is plowed by horse. He brings an approachable yet exclusive touch to the Chartogne-Taillet brand which are some of the most sought-after in Champagne.
